No it isnt the televisioned one. It sthe TUFFMAN Contest not the Toughman Contest. They have it here in Columbus Ohio, every year in May. Ive participated in the last 4, this will be my 5th year. Its cool as hell, I mean for the most part it is very professional (until you get the rednecks that have no sportsmanship) It goes 3 rounds at first, then in the quarter finals or sweet 16 it goes to 5 rounds, then for the semi finals and finals it is 7 rounds. I have placed 5th, 4th, 5th, 5th.... can never make it any further. No weight classes,no age groups, you are just put up against someone no matter what weight, age or what skill they use. The winners of the last 4 years have all been just your straight up street fighters. Which is what class I fall in even though I use my feet and knees alot. The karate, kickboxing, muay thai, etc - usually dont even make it into the semifinals. They dont stand a chance against some of the street fighters there. You wear 8 ounce boxing gloves, and 13 ounce foot gloves if you plan on using your feet. Its good fun and a wicked ass rush. I cant wait
