Show a thursday showing of this movie and i gotta say it was pretty good. Really intense, alot of side switching, and ALOT going on. Secrets are revealed and you get to see Jack Sparrow's Dad (if you pay close attention). The movie is about 2 hours and 45 minutes long and a scene at the very end of the credits. Keira Knightley is awesome in this movie, Barbosa (Geoffrey Rush) is of course awesome. Good story line, awesome action, and a very shocking ending! I look forward to your guys views on this movie and thats when i will use spolier tags as well.
Hmm I wanna see this so bad. In my city's magazine they gave it a 2/4 stars and said it was too long and acting wasn't very good. Oh well, I still want to see it.
sooo goood!!!![spoiler:928f76c5ee] the part when they are sitting with those pirates and keira says : this is madness, every1 was like, THIS IS SPARTA, tho afcourse sparrow had to ruin it by saying : this is politics[/spoiler:928f76c5ee]
Went and saw it last night, I thought it was REALLY good. Actually I'd have to say it was better than the other two. This one is REALLY dark. In fact, if they had thrown a tit up in there, they would of had an "R" rating. HAHAHA Pirates rated ARRRRRR!
I saw it yesterday, and didn't think it was that great at all. It was sooo long, and there was alot of unnecessary scenes.[spoiler:af5336ab78]Like when Calypso grew 50 feet tall, then turned into a bunch of crabs...I mean WTF?[/spoiler:af5336ab78] But I think Johnny Depp did a great job...[spoiler:af5336ab78]Especially when he was hallucinating and seeing loads of himself on the Black Pearl in Davy Jones Locker. Hahaha.[/spoiler:af5336ab78]
after the crapfest that was spider-man 3 i had decided that pirates 3 would also blow, so i lowered m expectations to the point where i didnt even want to see pirates, so of course i enjoyed myself, it was still flawed (how many fuckin double-crosses can one movie possibly have?) Overall tho it was ok
