The guy knows a good bit about Quantum and Multiverse properties, but he made a mistake in his rather elaborate story. For one, he claims to have a working knowledge of Quantum Physics and the idea of transporting in between these parallel universes. Even the most esteemed Quantum Physicists will admit that they do not fully understand the subject they study. He expressed many times that he is not sure whether he is in the same universe as we are. You would think that if he can travel in between these verses he would atleast know that he has done so. Or maybe a black hole just sucks him to a new universe randomly. The idea of Quantum Physics (or atleast one of the initial ideas) came from an experiment in which molecules where being moved around under a microscope. These particular molecules were attracted to each other, so they bonded together indefinetly. However, the bond was not complete. There were spaces between the molecules, as if there was a molecule there, but there was not one. This led to the idea of the molecules existing in a parallel universe, explaining the space between molecules. These verses are supposedly as little different from our own as the drop of a leaf in one and not in the other. While the closest universe to us has effect on us, direct communication between the two is not possible. It is like having two containers with a mouse in each. A tube in both dispenses food for the mice, but the food comes from the same source. If one mouse eats too much, the other mouse has less to eat. However, the other mouse has no way of knowing that the fatty mouse is the cause of his lack of food, and thinks that he is simply being fed poorly.

Yea, I don't believe this guy claiming to be part of the "real Black Mesa incident" or whatever he is saying along with his elaborate hoax, but I do find it entertaining to read

It always amazes me when Shad does that

i think its a hoax personally. I mean that headcrab looked like it was made from mexican food or something. A enchalda or some kind of spicy food. Who knows. But i don't think its true at all. Although i do agree with GW. It is quite amusing to read what the guy has to say. and for those of you who are to lazy(and because it takes awhile) to look at the headcrab pic...here it is.

I might not be super smart like Shad, or know a flying fuck about quantum physics, but I know my food, and that, is a decorated crab. Wast of good food, and a monster hangover has taken refuge in my gut.

There are a few other pics, and in one of them, you can tell by the angle the main body is a chicken or a turkey. It had to take some time to make it tough, and hands up to this guy to try and bring more interesting stories to the already fantastic storyline of Half-life. Maybe he is in part by Seirra or Valve...who knows...

I read somewhere that G-Man was because they couldn't think of a name and the npc AI is called Gman in the console because I read somewhere that it was shorter than G-Man.About the G-Man, he is in a lot more places than you think in HL2. I've seen him like four times before highway 17. One is on the monitor in either Kleiner's lab or in Black Mesa East. Then I'm sure there are 2 instances where he's on one of the empty docks during the whole airboat phase. I honestly don't remember the other time but... Yeah...I haven't beaten HL yet, but on HL:S you can skip to the end, and well let's just say if you don't choose his offer to work for him, it really is a battle you have no chance of winning. The end of HL also refers to the beginning of HL2. When the G-Man is going RiSe AnD ShInE, the little white lines that zoom behind him are from the ending of HL when they're somehow on the Black Mesa train in.... Space I think...I'm in the same boat as Bob. I didn't skip to the end, though. *Glare at Bob*Not trying to stir anything up, but I was thinking, (I'm rather enjoying thinking over the story), is if the G-Man was a "government man" working for some alien group, why then, is Gordon's contract "open to the highest bidder".In the Citadel, Breen says something like that to Gordon, implying that it was Breen who bought out his contract. Why would the G-Man, who is trying to end/stop/destroy the Combine, sell his "contract" to the enemy? And because of at the end, the G-Man also says, "instead of giving you the illusion of freedom of choice, I'll choose for you". That sounds off for a "government" out to stop the Universal Union. To me, that is.There are a ton of ideas that go flying off from there. Maybe Prima disagrees with me, but that story just doesn't make any sense to me. After I finish Half-Life, and Opposing Force, things will make more sense.

After I finish Half-Life, and Opposing Force, things will make more sense.Play OpFor but DON'T and I imply DON'T impliment that into the Half-life storyline. OpFor really fucked up with that expansion, and you should know why due to the people that made the expansion itself. As far as the G-man goes, I believe he is working for a government that wants the Combine gone, and right now Gorden is the man to do that, so the G-man is manipulating Gorden. After Gorden defeats the combine, I believe that this so called "government" will have no more use of Gorden, or any other human being, and they will destroy everyone.... well... try to. From what I have read, played, and thought about, I am led to believe that in Half-life 3, the final enemy will be the G-man and his government. Maybe there will even lead to be a 4th, cause thats a lot of information within a single game, and knowing Seirra, they will most likely try to leave us more confused once again. All we do know right now is that Gorden is in a "stasis," and in Half-life 3 we can end up 10 minutes after that explosion, or 10 years. Personally, I'm very happy how they have planned out this story so far, it leaves a lot to think about and it'll be funny when half the things we thought were gonna happy did not, or maybe they do! Oh I cannot wait! Heck, even the Alyx expansion would be neat to play just to learn more backround of the story as is. I want to learn more about "The Advisor" as well. (Or how real combine look like, which their real names are "Synths") Picture here
http://www.fragfiles.org/~hlstory/e...i ... festory/Go there for some more feedback on the whole HL storyline. And be sure to read about the Seven hours war, it is very important.

On the walls of Black Mesa East and Kleiner's lab, there are some newspaper clippings posted on the walls. Aside from the ones of Kleiner, there are ones that mention the 7 hour war.I think that Breen was the admin of Black Mesa before HL2, not Gman, showing that Gordon technically was working for Breen. At the end of HL Gman is the one who basically forces Gordon to work for him, severing the ties between Breen and Freeman. Breen seems to know all about Freeman as soon as he sees him briefly in the teleportation scene early on, so they're definately familiar with each other. Before HL2, Gordon clearly is asleep in some form caused by the portal at the end of HL, because of the whole RISE AND SHINE thing. Breen does not work for the Combine as he always calls them the Benefactors, showing that they are merely helping him control City 17 by providing him with the army and the Citadel. The Gman is not the leader of his cause, as he says at the end of HL that his sponsors are interested in him. It is not clear who Gman exactly is talking about though, because in HL his suitcase has a black mesa logo on it but in HL2 it does not. It's impossible to deny Opposing Force as irrelevant because it is clearly supported by Valve as it is available on Steam while they themselves did not make it, but at the same time Blue Shift, which focuses on Barney before HL2, is not available on Steam. Oddly enough, Blue Shift has more to do with the story, so far, then Opposing Force. Weird, eh?
