Well, I've beaten every FF and have loved them all... with the exception of ten. I have only one word that descibes the series' greatness: Galuf!

Best line ever "You spoony bard!" -Galuf. The word spoony escapes me to this day. I have to say that I agree with you that FFVII is overrated Chris, a good game, but not as good as Xenogears as you said.

i hear that often, xenogears owns "insert Final Fantasy title here" but I didnt really care for it. plus, FFVII will always have a place in my top 5 :p

*stabs Chris with an icicle* I liked VII, don't get me wrond, it just wouldn't get my number one spot for Best Game of All Time. I liked III, VI, VII, VIII, IX (wasn't as good as I expected though), and Tactics the best.

IX wasn't that good. but i liked it still. the only FF games i didn't like were Mystic Quest and FF5. i even played the two Japanese ones (soon to be one with the upcoming release of FF Origins ).
