dai animation doesnt mean shit, look at mario hes not exactly lookin too hot but everyone knows he owns those koopas.

Akira is kinda gory...But the gory parts are too far inbetween...Oh oh oh, I know...The Samurai X OVA's are pretty gory too with all those kick ass sword fights. Guys getting cut down the middle, getting chopped into at least 50 pieces in a matter of seconds, and heads flying everywhere...Plus, the OVA has some of the best animation ever witnessed, in my opinion at least...

ok smarties, which is better, the Hellsing subbed or dubbed (i usually only get subbed, but thought i'd ask first, seeing as a certain someone seems to be such a big fan)

It gives you the same perspective as the nurse in the film was placed in, unsure of what is happening. But given enough information to understand the situation at the end. You have to have a brain inside that skull to understand!Oh yeah, Perfect Blue is quite violent too. Still looking for the book though.

lazy bones (maybe you're lossing your eyesight in your old age! ;)my concern was with the translation. the one off the top of my head is Crouching Tiger Hidden etc, and pretty much any foreign film, they always fuck up the dubbed, maybe i'll grab one episode of both :p
