jk2 problems

when i try to start up my jk2 i have a problem. It loads the console aprt then when its loading the video it starting blinking my desktop while loading the video, when i click to skip the video it freezes and when i try and let the video play through even with the desktop flickering in the background it freezes after its done everything. And thoughts on how to fix this> thanks mates

Try the compatibility thing... right-click on jk2mp.exe -> compatibility ->run with Win98 compatibility.Sounds more like a graphics card issue, so try installing the latest drivers and directx. If you're using an Nvidia GeForce card, some have problems running JK2 for any drivers higher than 71.89. If all this fails, give us details for your graphics card and current drivers.
