internet problems

omg the night i got back from the cruise there was a storm and i was on the computer and i saw a spark come out of the power outlet on my 56k. i have cable obviously need to dial up before i can get on the interent. so since sunday to today i've had no service but finally the godamn patriot media guy came and gave us a new one cus the old one got fried.... anyways now im back online for good and hopefully no more problems!

you have to use dial-up 56k to access your cable connection? Mines just "On" all the time.
