First Day Tales (Better late then never)

Okay guys, it was recently, (two weeks ago) the one year anniversary of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. Since I know that means very little to any of you, I still thought it'd be fun to have everyone share their tales of the first day again. Remember the old days you know.Even if you hate/bash/play the game, it won't hurt to post your stories. Include details, and everything. Ha ha haAnyways, here's my story.Origin of Jorjoh DoffaHaving recently had DSL installed, and lightning fast internet connections at my fingertips (okay, so not lightning fast), I immediately unpacked my case of "Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided". The fresh smell of new game packages, the sweetest smell in the world. Inhaling deeply from my manual, I began to delve into what would become my main game for the course of at least a year. Simply realizing that it was mostly going over my head, I figured I'd install the game, and wing it. I'd played MMO's before, but Runescape is not the same deal. The discs felt crisp and new in my fingers, as I inserted them into the drive. I followed the installation process, and after a lot of waiting, it installed! It was amazing the game was so awesome! I created my character, choosing the Radiant server, and spent less then two minutes trying to think of a character name...(I regret 'Jorjoh', the hell was I thinking?!). Feeling impulsive, I pushed away my anticipated thoughts of being Trandoshan, chose a Zabrak, and scout as my profession. (I thought the clothes were pimp) Lost...and excited!I was immediately whisked away to the tutorial. After a lot of confusion, head scratching, and many many bad words, I slowly learned the basics of the game. Taking the advice I had found on the forums, I jumped on a shuttle to Coronet, Corellia. Boy, was I laggy! Suddenly angered at my misfortune, I figured I might as well explore the city a little. Scared, and a little bit lost, I desperately search for a familiar face. It was then I saw my first FoU'ster in-game. Sevenup was his name, and he was shooting at meatlumps on the outskirts of town. After asking him many, many questions, I learned of /tell's! I then retreated to a vacant alley were I sent my first /tell in-game! To who else, but ole Snapers! The hunt! After asking Snape more questions, I decided it was time to do some hunting. After grouping up with a few players, (I still remember their names), Graco a human marksmen, Aaylia a twi'lek brawler (was almost my in-game wife ), Ife, a cowardly marksmen (still plays to this day, and chat with him occasionally), and Adeen the weaponsmith, and maker of my first weapon, (I lost it eventually, not sure where ). We scoured the outskirts of Coronet, looking for trouble. Man, did we think we were cool, getting beat up by butterflies and durnis . We were crushing all in our path with our amazing CDEF's (donated by Adeen)! Death has a name. Then came the swoopers. It was at this point that our group fell apart. We stumbled across a cadre of swoopers, who were none too happy to see us. The battle ensued, and I don't know how we did it...but we managed to take down a few. We thought we were going to make it out alive, when more spawned and Graco died, Ife seeing we were going to die, abandoned us, like the chicken he was, and Adeen was AFK in a camp a hundred meters away. It was me and Aaylia. We attempted to fight them off...she went out cold, and I was halfway gone. When who should appear, but Kibanno Stinko! A Rodian Apprentice Gunfighter! With guns blazing, he jumped in and saved us from certain doom!AftermathWe retreated to the Coronet Cantina, where I saw GW! I think he was dancing, and I talked to him for a bit. Kibanno was healing his wounds, (200 BF, astounded me as a noob), and then (LD)'d, and we didn't see him after that. Adeen had work, and left us, Ife wouldn't answer us, and Graco was angry at us for letting him die, Aaylia, proclaming me her hero, began to follow me around, kissing me, asking me to be her boyfriend. (Turned out she was actually a 9 year old girl. At least "she" wasn't a 55 year old steel mill worker! ) Anyways...needless to say, I was dirt poor...she met some rich guy. The end of a long day...Well, I was tired, and so was my computer. I had done many things, but had only seen the tip of the iceberg on what was to come in the next year! With a weary, but satisfied heart, I slipped into bed, and dreamed of donuts.FinNow share guys, please! Even if you hate the game, I promise you, the nostalgia of your first day is great!
