need help with the vent chatting

hey i got a mic and it is a headset and a fair distance from my mouth, and i always have to put the mic alot closer to my mouth than it alrdy it in order to talk can someone help me out here???

new mic? or maybe you can turn up the sensitivity.

If you're using Vent, turn up your outbound volume....
