Guild wars costs monthly (i think)

Was flickin through a pc mag and it had an article on guild wars said it would be $15 a month so not sure if its going to be free

If it does have a monthly fee then I bet some people won't be playing it.But during the E3 Demo they did specifically state that there was going to be no monthly fee...but I guess things could always change. 8)

i talked to the NCSoft rep today. NO monthly fee.....period.the guy said Guild Wars was a tril run to see if a free MMO could catch on and make it. here's to hoping

the reps are right almost all of the time. Im lookin foward too it if its free because i wont pay to play unless the game is just FABALOUS!Plus reps give you free shit its cool

anyway, it is free. they're gonna make their money off the expansions they will plan for it. they hope enough play that it will be enough to pay the admins who oversee the game.

the only reason it could possibly be free is because of all the CoH playerspaying NCsoft, and those like... 20 lineage 2 players
